Nickelback merupakan band post grunge hard rock Kanada terkenal, didirikan pada tahun 1995 di Hanna, Alberta oleh oleh vokalis gitaris Chad Kroeger, Mike Kroeger, Ryan Peake dan pemain drum terdahulu Brandon Kroeger (saat ini digantikan oleh Daniel Adair). Nickelback menjadi band rock dari kanada tersukses dengan penjualan 50 juta album di seluruh dunia. NICKELBACK ini menjadi salah satu di antara grup musik lain dengan genre post-grunge modern, selain 3 Doors Down dan Daughtry yang menampilkan gaya bermusik Radio-friendly dibandingkan tradisional. Diskografi : Band NICKELBACK ditandatangani Roadrunner Records pada tahun 1999 dan merilis kembali album mereka The State. Band ini mencapai kesuksesan komersial yang signifikan dengan album ini, dan juga dengan tindak lanjutnya, Silver Side Up, Pada tahun 2001. Setelah rilis album Silver Side Up Band ini merilis hit terbesar dan paling terkenal di hari ini berjudul "How You Remind Me", yang memunculkan nomor 1 di tangga lagu Billboard Kanada. Album keempat band Nickelback, The Long Road, dirilis pada tahun 2003 dan melahirkan lima single termasuk nomor satu Kanada bertitel "Someday", Yang juga memuncak di nomor 7 di papan iklan Botboard 100. Setelah itu, band ini mengeluarkan album penjualan terbesar mereka sampai saat ini, All The Right Reasons (2005) yang menghasilkan tiga single 10 dan lima top 20 atas di Billboard di 100 untuk lagu "Photograph", "Far Away", dan "Rockstar". Album selanjutnya, Dark Horse (2008) adalah kesuksesan komersial lainnya, menghasilkan delapan single, salah satunya memuncak di 10 besar Billboard 100.
