Simple Plan adalah band pop punk terkenal di dunia yang berasal dari Montréal, Québec, Kanada. Band ini seringkali mendapatkan banyak nominasi dan menang dalam penghargaan. Sejak terbentuk, grup ini telah merilis lima album studio dan tidak pernah mengalami pergantian anggotanya dan mereka ini adalah vokalis Pierre Bouvier, gitaris Jeff Stinco, drummer Chuck Comeau, bassist David Desrosiers dan gitaris Sébastien Lefebvre. Nama SIMPLE PLAN sendiri kurang jelas dari mana asalnya. Ketika mereka ditanya, para personelnya seringkali memberikan jawaban berupa seperti lelucon, termasuk salah satunya adalah karena mereka membentuknya sebagai sebuah "rencana dadakan" untuk menghindari bekerja di restoran cepat saji. Tapi kemungkinan yang paling besar, nama "Simple Plan" diambil dari sebuah lagu karya Piebald berjudul "Just a Simple Plan" atau dari judul film "A Simple Plan". Lagu paling terkenal dari Simple Plan yaitu "Jet Lag" dimana banyak di daur ulang dan berkolaborasi dengan beberapa musisi di negara lain, di Indonesia Simple Plan pernah berkolaborasi dengan band KOTAK pada tahun 2011 yang lalu.

Pada bulan Maret 2002, Simple Plan merilis album studio pertamanya berjudul "No Pads, No Helmets...Just Balls" Dan mereka mengatakan bahwa mereka menginginkan album yang murni bergenre pop-punk. Nama album ini mengacu pada sebuah frasa populer dari olahraga rugby, "No pads, no helmets, just balls." Di album ini juga terdapat vokal dari penyanyi Mark Hoppus dari Blink-182 pada lagu "I'd Do Anything" dan Joel Madden dari Good Charlotte untuk lagu "You Don't Mean Anything". Saat Simple Plan merilis album ini, Simple Plan tampil lebih dari 300 pertunjukan dan memuncaki posisi chart "Alternative New Artist". Album pertama ini terjual 1 juta copy hingga awal 2003 dan telah terjual 4 juta copy di seluruh dunia, menjadikannya album tersukses dari Simple Plan secara komersial.

Pada Oktober 2004, Simple Plan merilis album keduanya yaitu Still Not Getting Any..., dalam proses penulisnya mereka mengatakan bahwa tidak ingin membatasi diri pada genre punk, tetapi membiarkan diri mereka untuk menulis "musik yang baik", Album ini mendapatkan sertifikasi platinum dari RIAA dan telah terjual lebih dari 1 juta kopi. Album ketiganya SIMPLE PLAN menduduki No. 2 pada Canadian album charts, No. 14 pada US Billboard 200 dand masuk 10 besar di berbagi negara seperti Australia, Austria, Sweden, Switzerland dan Brazil. Download Album - Lagu Terbaik. Asking Alexandria merupakan grup musik electronicore dan metalcore yang terbentuk pada tahun 2008. Band ini berasal dari York, North Yorkshire, Inggris. Anggotanya adalah Ben Bruce, Danny Worsnop, James Cassells, Cameron Liddell, Sam Bettley. Awal mula Asking Alexandria asalnya dari Dubai, Uni Emirat Arab, dimana gitaris Ben Bruce mencoba karir bermusik dan merilis satu buah album "The Irony of Your Perfection" dibaawah band Asking Alexandria. Band ini pecah, setelah itu Ben Bruce memulai membuat band dengan nama Asking Alexandria. Band ini tidak pernah tur sampai pembubarannya. Asking Alexandria menjadi band yang sukses dengan album studio pertamanya, Stand Up And Scream. dengan lagu singlenya yang paling hits berjudul Final Episode.

Saat tahun 2008, Ben Bruce kembali ke Inggris dan meninggalkan band serta anggota lainnya. Meskipun begitu, Bruce tidak memiliki rencana untuk menggantungkan karier bermusiknya. Tidak lama setelah kepindahannya, dia memulai kembali dengan anggota baru dengan membawa nama ASKING ALEXANDRIA. Bruce menyatakan dalam MySpace-nya, bahwa ia masih menyukainya dari alasan atau makna di balik nama ini. Oleh karena itu bagaimana pun dia tetap menyukai nama tersebut dan berencana untuk membuat proyek baru. Dia juga menyatakan bahwa Asking Alexandria yang sekarang berbeda dengan Asking Alexandria sewaktu merilis The Irony of Your Perfection. Asking Alexandria merekam debut album mereka "STAND UP AND SCREAM" pada 19 Mei dan menempati nomor 4 pada Top Heatseekers dan nomor 24 pada Top Hard Rock Albums. Mereka memfokuskan tahun 2009 untuk meraih kesuksesan di Amerika Serikat, seperti dengan melakukan tour bersama Alesana, Enter Shikari, The Bled, Evergreen Terrace, dsb. "RECKLESS AND RELENTLESS" diluncurkan dan kali ini memuncaki nomer 7 pada UK Rock Chart dan terjual sebanyak 161,000 kopi di AS. Pada bulan Maret Alexandria melakukan tur pertamanya saat tahun baru Amerika Utara bersama Attack-Attack! dan beberapa grup band lainnya. Pada tahun 2015, Worsnop keluar dari band karena konflik dengan sang gitaris pemimpin Ben Bruce, Danny ingin mengurangi keahliannya dalam menyanyikan lagu heavy metal sehingga memaksa sang gitaris untuk membuat lagu yang beraliran rock, tapi pada waktu penulisan lagu Danny jarang bergabung dalam proses pembuatan musik. Bruce berkata bahwa "dia sudah kehilangan kepeduliannya terhadap Asking Alexandria dan fansnya." Pada bulan januari melalui FanPage resmi Asking Alexandria yang dicatat oleh Ben Bruce Danny Worsnop resmi keluar. Setelah itu vokalis baru Denis Stoff masuk pada Juni 2015. Tapi karena perdebatan antar vokalis, Danny masuk kembali dan Stoff keluar dari Asking Alexandria.

Gaya musik : Musik band ini sebagian besar telah digambarkan sebagai Metalcore, namun juga telah diberi label post hardcore, screamo hard rock, dan logam berat.
